In-Home Therapy in Halifax

Guiding you to strength, mobility and independence. PhysioCare At Home is passionate about empowering seniors to live healthy and fulfilling lives — in their own homes, on their own terms.

Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford and Sackville

Halifax is where PhysioCare At Home began in 2004, with one physiotherapist visiting seniors in their own living rooms. It is now our largest team, with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and kinesiology right across the Halifax Regional Municipality.

What started it has not changed: we are passionate about empowering seniors to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

What we offer here

Not every discipline runs in every community. These are the services available in your area right now.

Physiotherapy at Home

Assessment, education to prevent recurrence and slow disease progression, manual therapy including joint mobilisation, and strengthening built around your own goals. Delivered one-on-one by a registered physiotherapist.

Occupational Therapy at Home

Solving the problems that interfere with daily functions — bathing, dressing, transfers, home safety. Occupational therapists also assess for equipment and help you arrange it.

Kinesiology at Home

Bridging rehabilitation and long-term wellness. Kinesiologists extend care between physiotherapy and occupational therapy visits, keep you accountable, and are a more affordable option when extended benefits run short.
