What is Cancer Rehabilitation?
Cancer rehabilitation is a process that assists cancer survivors in achieving
maximum physical function and quality of life after cancer treatment.
Research clearly demonstrates that appropriate and well designed physical
rehabilitation can improve physical and psychological health for cancer survivors.

• Pre-surgical and post-surgical assessment and treatment
• Pain management
• Fatigue management and energy conservation
• Scar management
• Postural assessment and treatment
• Balance and mobility assessment and treatment
• Evaluation for assistive devices or adaptive equipment
• Individualized strength, endurance, and flexibility programs

Our Survivor Self Management Program, which consists of 8 ‘one-on-one’
sessions delivered over a 12 week period, is designed to provide the
patient with the skills they need to optimize their physical health.
